Treyarch Studios has extended the ongoing High Art event in *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* and *Warzone* by one week. Originally set to end on May 15, the event will now run through Thursday, May 22, giving players more time to complete the Event and unlock exclusive rewards. tl4p

The High Art event has stirred controversy within the community, largely due to its cannabis-themed content and the continued use of Event es. While a free option is available, many players have criticized the event’s microtransactions and high-priced skins.

Despite the backlash, the event remains active, bringing with it limited-time modes like High Trip Resurgence. These modes add unique gameplay elements such as power-ups, super speed, and no fall damage. It’s unclear if these special modes will also remain active during the extension.

This is not the first time *Black Ops 6* has faced criticism for in-game events. Earlier this year, the Squid Game crossover drew negative reactions over pricing and the monetization of event content.

The extension comes shortly after a disappointing Season 3 Reloaded update, which introduced bugs and revived issues with hackers in *Warzone*. While the return of Verdansk was well-received in Season 3, players are now eagerly awaiting news about the next major update.
